Our short-term fully accessible cabin is now open, how exciting. It has been a long-term plan of ours to cater to people who need that extra bit of help and who would like a holiday in one of our cabins, well now it can happen.
There are not many short-term facilities like this around, so try to find one as good as this, an almost impossible task - get your comfort and be in the middle of nature too. Not too often this happens so everyone, yes everyone able-bodied or not can come and stay here at Glen Lough Cabins and enjoy our slice of heaven. You still still have the necessary items you need to have your comfort when you are wheelchair bound for example.
This cabin passes all relevant legislation, you can get around this cabin with no problem a full wet room is at your disposal, non-slip floors throughout the cabin, and a full deck for you to sit and enjoy the breathtaking sunsets or listen to the chorus of chirping birds and lively wildlife, what an enchanting ambiance. then, as evening falls if you want a touch of romance the crackling fire will do it every time! Have a look at the night sky, the Milky Way, and the stars through our telescopes (and a guidebook to help you name the constellations, etc) watch the night sky unfold before your very own eyes!!
Best of all you don't have to go anywhere to enjoy all of this, just stay and relax at all our cabins for the best weekend in the country.
The cabin can cater to the disabled but is also very suitable for anyone as it is so tastefully done and so appealing for anyone looking for a getaway in the bush.
Our fully accessible cabin has a full wet room, so rill-in shower for a wheelchair. A shower seat for your convenience along with grab rails and a raised toilet - this allows any disabled person to come and enjoy the Granite Belt and get your comfort too, there are not many disabled cabins like this around.
